Suncoast Animal League (SAL) is a non-profit, no-kill animal rescue agency that takes in abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals. They provide medical treatment, shelter, socialization and plenty of love to the animals while they wait for their forever home.

*Volunteer roles for this event include

– Pen Attendants – prepare the pens for arrival of the dogs; take the dogs from the transport vehicle to the pens; stay with the dogs for the duration of the event; update status cards of the dogs as they go through the intake process; supervise as the dogs meet with prospective fosters/adopters.

– Runners – take the dogs through the different steps of the intake process: bath station, vet station, grooming station.

– Bath Station – bathe and dry the dogs.

Parking: at the Publix parking lot across the street

What to wear: you will get dirty, so dress accordingly. Bathers should wear quick-dry clothes and/or bring a change of clothes.

Food & Refreshments: will be provided by SAL. There is also a Publix across the street.
