Fellowship • Fun • Philanthropy
Balance Tampa Bay is an LGBTA volunteer organization founded in 2011 with the mission to promote Fellowship, Fun and Philanthropy throughout the LGBT community and Tampa Bay as a whole.
To further this mission, we hold monthly Public Service Events and Socials, bi-monthly Activities and three Special Events throughout the year. All of our events are open to anyone interested in attending and, with only a few exceptions, are free to attend.
Our public service work include helping feed the homeless the first Sunday of every month and monthly Public Service Events where we volunteer with other non-profits to help them achieve their goals.
Each month we hold a Social at a local restaurant. The Socials take place on both sides of Tampa Bay and are always free to attend.
Three times per year we hold a Special Event that benefits a local non-profit. Each December, we hold Party For Presents which is a holiday toy drive for needy children. Every Spring, we welcome the public to Kickball For Kids which benefits a different children’s charity each year. In August, we hold our Masquerade Ball to help support ASAP/Empath Health’s mission.
